Karin Markhede from Sahlgrenska Hospital told TT that they could not say how the woman was infected.
On Wednesday, Sweden confirmed its first death of a coronavirus patient. The patient was being treated at the intensive care ward at the Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge when they were diagnosed with the coronavirus. Stockholm health officials said the patient had underlying health conditions.
The Public Health Agency reported on Saturday that there are now 924 people in Sweden infected by the coronavirus.
It says the majority of people have been infected abroad or through someone in the area who has come home from a foreign trip. 341 cases have been found in the Stockholm region.
The government needs to stop providing the infection number or qualify it with additional information stating that they have severely limited testing so the number of infected is very likely higher. I have been very sick for three days, I am presenting all the symptoms and have self-isolated. Sweden doesn’t test people like me, we must be many on the mild to moderate spectrum and so that number is likely inaccurate.
Swedish government should ban everything for two weeks like emergency in Italy otherwise it could be out of control.
I think is a joke that the swedish goverment publish numbers of infected when they are not testing. It gives people a false sense of everything is ok. And does not help !
