An early start on Nice's new Line 3 was announced on Monday by Christian Estrosi, the president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region (PACA).
 
The construction was not expected to start so soon, but it seems Estrosi is just too keen to see the benefits of the new line.

“It will attract hundreds of companies to create even more wealth for us here,” he said of the new line, which connects the airport to the Nice stadium.
