“I am finished with the catwalk and I won’t miss it,” 39-year-old Schiffer told the magazine. “I continue to model and it’s a lot of fun – but no more fashion shows.”
Schiffer, who comes from Rheinberg in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, was in Milan just a few days ago for fashion week to promote a new perfume for Dolce & Gabbana.
The tall German beauty was discovered in a Düsseldorf night club in 1987 and was most popular in the 1990s. She has been featured on the cover of hundreds of fashion magazines and appeared in dozens of films and commercials.
