The plane took off from Copenhagen’s Kastrup airport and was en route to Lithuania when a fire started onboard.
The aircraft was carrying 33 passengers.
It was forced to make an emergency landing at Malmo’s Sturup airport and landed safely at 22.17 on Friday evening.
”The crew was able to control the fire and no one was injured in the incident,” air rescue chief Katarina Leijonberg told news agency TT.
”At this point in time, we still don’t know what caused the fire,” she added.
