The games will take place in Vienna's Ernst-Happel stadium against Sweden (September 8), Montenegro (12 October) and Russia (15 November).
Euro 2016 will be the 15th European Championships for men's national football teams, organised by UEFA. It will be held in France from 10 June to 10 July 2016.
There will be pressure on Austria to get across the line in qualifying for Euro 2016, as their recent record is dismal.
Euro 2008 was the only championship in which Austria got through to the latter stages of the competition and it did not last long. They bowed out after the group stage following a 1-0 defeat by long-time rivals Germany.
