The 32-year-old woman was spotted ranging along Korsörer Strasse in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district wielding the short workshop blade against various vehicles. She was seen by local residents who called the police, but by the time she was arrested, the unhinged lady had damaged over 100 cars.
According to the police report, she was dressed “for the summer” despite the freezing temperatures. There was no indication she had any connection with the carpet-fitting profession.
Police arrested the woman on Kopenhagener Strasse, close to the scene of her deeds, and took her to hospital, where she was admitted to the psychiatric ward.
