According to local police officer Patrik Ahlbom the woman was trying to fish out a dead hen from the well when she fell in herself. The woman fell 2-3 metres and probably died immediately, Ahlbom said. The 63-year-old was found by her husband.
The woman was taken to Dalsland’s hospital in Bäckefors where she was confirmed dead.
Ahlbom reports that the woman’s husband suffered from shock following the accident.
