Tributes were paid to Wilma Andersson, 17, in the towns of Uddevalla and Lysekil on Saturday.
A huge search operation was launched after she was reported missing on November 24th, but it was called off on Friday after police said they had found a body part which confirmed she was no longer alive.
No further details were immediately released about the find. Police said on Monday that the investigation continued in the hope of finding more clues that could reveal how the 17-year-old was killed.
Her boyfriend, a man in his 20s, remains in custody on suspicion of murdering her.
He denies the allegations, according to his lawyer.

Memorial ceremonies were held in Uddevalla and Lysekil on Saturday, organized by volunteer organizations Missing People and Fikk which had helped look for the girl.
“Many people are emotionally affected by this. We are going to pray in our churches for those who are affected and for the girl's relatives,” Uddevalla vicar Gertrud Malmberg told the TT news agency.
