Women warned over Swiss foot fetishist’s porn videos

The man, who claims to live in Chur, has had thousands of hits for his videos, which show women at train stations, in shops or at a local festival, said the region’s Südostschweiz paper.

The videos generally only show the woman’s feet but sometimes their face is visible, said the paper. It does not appear that they know they are being filmed.

Speaking to Südostschweiz, Graubünden police confirmed knowledge of the matter but said for the moment the secret foot filmer had committed no criminal offence.

The only thing the women involved can do if they notice themselves on a porn site is to lodge a civil complaint for violation of Swiss data protection laws.

Nevertheless, there is precedent for prosecuting secret filmers, according to the 20 Minutes daily.

In early 2015 a man was prosecuted for secretly filming (clothed) women’s bottoms and breasts in the canton of Aargau and posting the videos on a porn site, it said.

A court said he had damaged the reputation of the women involved and fined him 4,000 francs for libel and defamation, Blick reported at the time.
