“As I'm always looking to improve on court, I would like to take this opportunity to announce as of immediately that I have added Richard Krajicek to my existing coaching staff to help during the grass court season for the next four weeks,” Wawrinka said on Twitter.
“Magnus (Norman)… and I are really excited about the new addition to our team — adding a former Wimbledon champion can only further my knowledge and understanding of the grass.”
Dutchman Krajicek won his only Grand Slam title at Wimbledon in 1996 when he defeated MaliVai Washington in straight sets in the final, after defending champion Pete Sampras lost in an early round upset.
It's a real privilege and honour to add such a champion to my corner.

Wawrinka won the 2014 Australian Open and added the French Open title the following year, but he has struggled on the grass at Wimbledon with just two quarterfinal appearances to his name.
A similar decision to Wawrinka's call to Krajicek was taken by Milos Raonic during the French Open, the Canadian asking former champion John McEnroe to help him prepare for Wimbledon.
