A 23-year-old man was shot and killed on Monday evening in an apartment in Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city.
East Jutland Police said that two men, aged 22 and 25, have been arrested but much remained unclear as of Tuesday morning.
“We cannot rule out that he did it himself. But neither can we rule out that he was murdered. We are investigating both possibilities,” spokesman Per Bennekov told news agency Ritzau.
Police said that the man was shot in the back of the head with a handheld revolver. None of the three men have any known gang connections and their relationship was described as friendly.
