Denmark’s Prince Christian turns ten

Denmark's second in line to the throne celebrated his tenth birthday on Thursday.

Prince Christian, the eldest son of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, has now hit double digits. 
 
Born on October 15th, 2005 in Copenhagen, Prince Christian is one of eight grandchildren of Queen Margrethe II and her husband, Prince Consort Henrik. 
 
Christian is behind his father in line for the throne and will presumably one day be crowned King Christian XI. 
 
For now, the ten-year-old attends public school in Hellerup. The young prince, whose full name is Christian Valdemar Henri John, has three younger siblings: eight-year-old Princess Isabella and four-year-old twins Vincent and Josephine.
