Sept. 17: Digital mindmapping (Umeå)

To register for this course, please go to:http://humlab.umu.se/en/events/short-courses/

Mind maps can be used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas as well as for presenting, studying and organizing information, solving problems, making decisions, and writing, and much much more. Mind maps may also aid recall of existing memories. By presenting ideas in a radial, graphical, non-linear manner, mind maps encourage a brainstorming approach to planning and organizational tasks.

This hands-on workshop gives the participant usage insights of Mindview which is a computer program (Mac & PC) and Mind42 which is a web-based collaborative mind mapping tool. Participants will be fairly able users by the end of the session.

The course is held in English but it will be possible to ask questions and discuss with the teacher in Swedish.

When: September 17th, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Where: Humlab – under Universitetsbiblioteket (UB), H1, Umeå University
