The 72-year-old Italian man was arrested on Monday after police discovered he had been filming his guests.

“He created three secret rooms, hidden behind fake wardrobes with special holes hidden under lock and key, to watch and film clients,” Turin police said in a statement.

In a video released by police, a large hole is exposed behind a wardrobe in one of the bedrooms. A small store room is revealed, filled with pillows and toilet paper, from which the owner allegedly filmed the guests.

Various peepholes are shown drilled into walls and wardrobes, in addition to a secret store cupboard used by the owner.

Police have seized the B&B and are investigating whether the films were used to extort money from clients.
