Villemo Hatland, who will host the event in Norway's capital city on Sunday November 16th, was herself bullied and ended up having to change schools in Norway.
Her mother, Elisabeth Hatland, who helped her daughter arrange the event, believes raising awareness of the problem will help get politicians involved to better tackle the issue.
Elisabeth said to VG: “We wish to use all the engagement around bullying that is out there now, in light of the Odin case and other cases. We will put even more pressure on the politicians to handle bullying. It is a school problem, but also a big problem in society. What happened with Odin must never happen again.”
13-year-old Odin Olsen Andersgård from Aurskog, South Norway took his life after suffering the torment of school bullies in March this year.
