A collision between a car and a freight train claimed the life of the driver at an ungated level crossing in St. Peter am Hart, in the district of Braunau in Upper Austria on Wednesday afternoon.
Police from the region of Braunau have confirmed that they attended the scene of the collision, but were unable to provide further details.
The driver of the car died at the scene. A fellow passenger in the car was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
