According to Spain’s Meteorological Agency, a cold front from the Atlantic will push temperatures down across many parts of Spain on the weekend.
Clouds and rain are expected in northwest Spain and the north of the Canary Islands on Friday.
In Galicia and Asturias, temperatures are set to drop by 1 up to 5 degrees.
The cold-wave will spread through the rest of the peninsula before Sunday, bringing relief to most, with temperatures dropping by up to 8C in central Spain, including Madrid..
Temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will remain relatively stable while the Balearic Islands is the exception in Spain with temperatures on the island chain rising 1–2C to around the 30C mark over coming days.
