On Monday morning, a Handelsbanken bank in Grangärde, central Sweden, was hit for the second time this year, Dalarnas Tidningar reported.
"There are two culprits, and it seem a weapon was seen as well," police spokesman Bo Eriksson told the paper.
Police suspect a total of three to four people were involved, and witnesses said they took off in a dark blue van headed towards the town of Ställberg.
Reports said weapons were contained in the van, though details were still unclear around lunch time.
One bank employee was driven to the hospital by ambulance, though the extent of their injuries remains unknown.
Police are searching for the suspected thieves across several regions including Dalarna, Örebro, and Västmanland.
The same bank was robbed in February earlier this year.
