"I'm just glad that … what's his name again? Petter Northug has gone straight into the wall," Berglund said in a conversation with Johan Tornberg, a hockey star turned commentator. "What a bloody loser! Being so cocky and then going right into the wall." 

 

According to Sweden's Aftonbladet newspaper, the national hockey team threatened to blacklist Viasat after it broadcast the conversation, arguing that Berglund thought he was having a relaxed chat and did not know he was on camera.

 

The Swedish hockey team only agreed to cooperate with the channel once it apologised for what had happened. 

 

"Viasat has apologised to Berglund for what happened the other day,"  Tommy Boustedt, the team's coach, said. "And we have accepted the apology."
