After watching his rival Leo Messi claim the Ballon D'or for four consecutive years, Ronaldo's relief was palpable.

But the Real Madrid forward wasn't the only celebrating: the club physios were too.

Before Ronaldo had made them a promise: if he won the award he would buy them all a car of their choice as a thanks for all their hard work in keeping him match fit.

That's according to Spain's Marca sports daily, who also say CR7 is a man of his word. He will now have to put his money where his mouth is.
