Look at any British newspaper over the past few weeks and you'll see that having a Norwegian Christmas is this year's craze. But it's not all gingerbread, gløgg and tasteful decor. Here are some of the country's weirder traditions.

From dressing up as a goat-like devil when you go out  'julbukking', to leaving porridge for your ill-tempered house spirit, Norway has certainly kept more pagan Jul traditions that the US or US.
