Around 500,000 Germans visit the UK each year and The Local has spoken to some to find out what they find strange about the islands and its people.

Germany and the UK enjoy a strong relationship, but from excessive politeness to not knowing when the bus will arrive, there are many differences which can frustrate and delight the Germans.
