Talking to Closer magazine, she said the company was responsible for her son and she has nothing to lose in suing them.
Her son François-Xavier Leuridan, called FX, took part in Big Brother equivalent Secret Story in 2009.
“I believe this company used my son, and other candidates, to earn money. Then they abandoned him in the jungle of show business without any support,” she said.
“As fragile as he was at 20, all of this could only have lead to this drama. François-Xavier is not the only one to have suffered from this abandonment, so I would like to protect other reality TV candidates.”
Following his shoot to fame during Secret Story, FX participated in another reality TV show run by Endemol called Carré Viiip, which was soon cancelled due to poor viewing figures.
FX committed suicide in August 2011.
