In a statement, the airline said that “delays and some same-day cancellations of flights are expected” but that 80 percent of its flights should be operating.
Two of three unions representing flight attendants at the airline have called for strike action on Saturday and on November 2nd to protest plans to reduce the number of attendants on each flight.
“Air France regrets the disruption of flight operations caused by a flight attendants’ strike… The company apologises to its customers and regrets finding itself held hostage under these conditions,” it said.
