Sunday would “once again bring large parts of Germany fine Indian summer weather,” before fading on Monday when cooler patches begin to seep across the north, the service said.
Meteorologist Ansgar Engel said Sunday would offer the chance to “combine voting with the pleasure of Sunday stroll.”
After some early morning fog, Sunday will fine and dry with maximum temperatures between 18 and 23.
However, high pressure system “Sabine,” which has been responsible for recent mild autumn weather, seems to have run her course after that, the weather service said.
Monday is expected to bring cloud and patches of rain to the north with a maximum of 18 degrees, though much of the rest of the country will remain relatively fine. Temperature will reach 23 degrees in the southwest.
On Tuesday, the bad weather will start to set in with more cloud and rain, dropping to 16 degrees in the far north while staying a comparatively balmy 22 in the south west.
