Lili Fischer – Test Flight of the Crane Flies

See what it feels like to flap your wings like a crane fly. Volunteers can try Lili Fischer’s “crane fly simulator” on Sunday at the Hamburger Kunsthalle. While you’re there, be sure to check out the German artist’s stunning crane fly installation, which includes a graceful collection of the long-legged, winged creatures Fischer constructed after intense field research.
