According to German daily Northeimer Neueste Nachrichten, police said it appeared that two men were engaging in intimate activities in an attic, which included a noose hanging from a ceiling beam. When one of the men left the room for a time, his partner asphyxiated.
The paper reported that the police spokesperson in the town of Ellierode didn’t want to comment any further on the incident.
