This is our fourth major survey on the Swedish response to the pandemic (you can read the articles created from earlier reader surveys in April, June, and December 2020, and June 2021, and we have also carried out further surveys related to specific topics such as long distance relationships, parenting and vaccinations). Although these surveys are not scientific, they are part of our commitment to raising the voices of Sweden’s foreign residents.

I had the two shots of the Vaccines and stayed at a Hotel in Stockholm full of parents with their young kids , just after the first restrictions were lifted . I got infected with Covid because no one wore a mask , there was no social distancing and the hotel was overcrowded . Thank God I was vaccinated as the Delta Variant is terrible really terrible so this rush to lift all the restrictions will come back to haunt Sweden in the Winter . I noticed the German guests all wore masks and thought Sweden had gone mad .
I agree. The authorities seem to enjoy being irresponsible if not stupid. And your average Swede is only too happy to follow. Sad, really. I thought this country was better than this. Geez was I wrong.
