Switzerland’s Federal Office of Public Health removed Spain and Portugal from the mandatory quarantine list with immediate effect on March 11th.
In the week since the decision, demand for flights to the Iberian peninsula have skyrocketed.

According to Easyjet, inquiries about flights to Portugal increased by 170 percent since the announcement, with enquiries on flights to Spain increasing by 150 percent.
Swiss airlines have responded to the increased demand by adding flights to several destinations in the region.
According to Swiss newspaper 20 Minutes, Swiss will add flights to Palma de Mallora, Málaga, Barcelona and Alicante.
In the week ending March 29th, the number of flights from Switzerland to Spain with Swiss air will increase from 34 to 43, with the number increased from 48 to 59 the following week.
Flights to Lisbon and Porto are also being increased.
