Extensive travel restrictions have been put into place to slow down the spread of coronavirus mutations.
“These rules apply to all people who are permitted to enter Switzerland. That means they also apply if you are Swiss and returning to Switzerland after being abroad”, the Federal Office of Public Health said on its website.
Almost everyone who enters Switzerland must fill out the entry form online, if they are entering by plane.
Once this is done, you will receive a QR code which you should show at immigration and passport control if asked.
You can find the form here.
Who does not need to fill out the form?
Some travellers are exempted from this requirement.
More information about the travel rules can be seen at the following link.
Thank you for this. I’m going by train from Italy (Milan) all the way through to Germany without getting off the train. I’m also double-jabbed and British. Do I need to fill in the Swiss form? All guidance gratefully received 🙂 Andrew
