Trains linking Geneva airport to Vevey were cancelled between Lausanne and Vevey, while regional trains were cancelled between Lausanne and Cully, with a replacement bus service operating, said train operator SBB.

Trains linking Geneva airport to Brig are not affected, however, though could be subject to short delays due to speed restrictions on the line, a spokesperson for SBB told news agencies.

The disruption is expected to last throughout Monday.
