UK budget airline easyJet has revealed 16 new routes from French airports that will open next year.

Good news for fans of budget travel.
 
The head of easyJet France said that the service would be rolling out a whole new set of transport options to and from France. 
 
“Nearly every big French city will be served,” François Bacchetta, managing director of EasyJet France told France Info.
 
Three of the connections go to London's Luton airport, flying from Marseille, Nantes, and Biarritz.

  • Toulouse – Spain's Malaga (from June)
  • Toulouse – Italy's Venice (from June)
  • Toulouse – Spain's Valencia (from June)
  • Nice – Portugal's Faro (from June)
  • Nice – Switzerland's Zurich (from June)
  • Lille – Italy's Venice (from June)
  • Lille – Italy's Naples (from June)
  • Lille – Portugal's Faro (from June)
  • Marseille – Italy's Venice (from May)
  • Marseille – London's Luton (from February)
  • Nantes – London's Luton (from February)
  • Bordeaux – Germany's Hamburg (from June)
  • Biarritz – Switzerland's Bâle (from June)

The British airline has already opened 36 new routes in France this year alone, including connections between Paris CDG and Manchester, Lyon and Stockholm, and Nice and Mykonos in Greece. 
 
Bacchetta added that prices on the upcoming connections would be as low as €20 for a one-way trip on some flights. 
 
The company is creating 72 jobs and acquiring two new planes based in Nice and Toulouse to cope with the development.
 
In all the company can count some 1,000 workers on its books in France.
 
EasyJet is the second biggest airline in Europe, behind Ryanair. The company saw a 6.6 percent growth last year.
