The story that has more questions than answers is slowly becoming clearer.
CCTV footage from the scene of the Kim Kardashian robbery on Sunday night reportedly shows the thieves escaping by push bike, a police source told LCI newspaper.
“We actually saw some robbers arrive and leave on bikes,” the source said.
The concierge at the private mansion confirmed the presence of the bikes, according to reports.
“According to him, there were two bikes in the courtyard. But after the theft, the two bikes disappeared,” the source added.
The thieves got away with jewellery, two phones, and a ring worth €4 million that Kardashian had posed with on Instagram just days before the robbery (see below).
It still remains unclear how the thieves, who reportedly were dressed as police, managed to convince the doorman to lead them to Kardashian's apartment, and how they got the door open.
Other questions have been raised, including how the US star managed to get free considering she was tied up in a bathtub, and why better CCTV wasn't available at such a luxurious residence.
The investigation has also been delayed due to the fact that Kardashian left Paris on Monday rather than hang around to help with the investigation.
