French photographer Fred Goudon has done it again.
His previous French firemen calendar was lauded by one international website as the “most stunning 2016 calendar you've ever seen”.
And now, his 2017 calendar looks set to leave some of you feeling hot, hot, hot as well. It's already been featured in the “Good News” section of the Huffington Post.
It features a bunch of half-naked male firefighters from across France spread over 12 pages, however female firefighters do not make an appearance in the calendar.
Given that some 12 percent of French firefighters are women, you would have thought they would have at least been given one month? At least that's what happened in a calendar of Australian firefighters this year.
Apparently the reason for the male only calendar is that the photographer “specializes in men photography”.
“Sadly women are not represented in this calendar,” Ingrid Meucci, spokesperson at Pompiers Sans Frontières told The Local.
But the good thing is the proceeds of Les Calendriers des Pompiers 2017 will go towards the NGO charity Pompier sans frontieres.
The photographer himself admits to the allure of the French pompiers.
“It's almost as if there's some kind of casting to get into the French fire service. Someone in the recruitment must have very good taste,” he told The Local when the first calendar was published last year.
