One indicator of the changing seasons in Austria is the number of fleamarket events that start popping up on social media.

MEINS wird DEINS

With the sun tentatively making an appearance, fleamarket season has officially begun and this weekend is a banger. From second-hand bike parts to vintage fashion, the Local has rounded up some of the bargain-hunting events taking place over the next few days in Vienna.

This annual spring market in Doebling will feature hundreds of stalls from a variety of private sellers. It’s the 45th fleamarket in Obkirchergasse so these guys probably know what they are doing. Also featuring food and drinks, face-painting and clown performances, this is very much a kid-friendly event.
