Balotelli peed in our shoes, says ex-teammate

One ex-teammate alleges that 'Super Mario' would routinely urinate into the boots of his colleagues when nobody was around.

The story was told to the sports news channel, ESPN, by Brazilian striker Kerlon Moura Souza, known simply as Kerlon, who played with Balotelli at Inter Milan between 2008 and 2009.

“Mario used to arrive in the changing rooms before everybody else and then he would pee in everybody's boots,” Kerlon told reporters.

But it seems that the young Balotelli's prank, however disgusting, was taken in good humour by his squad.

“That's why he would always argue playfully with Marco Materazzi. Materazzi saw him as a little brother. Nobody got angry about it because they knew that's just the way Mario was.

“They just gave him a slap on the head and asked themselves: 'What can we do? That's how Balotelli is'.”

Since his Inter Milan days, Balotelli has garnered a reputation for his crazy off-field antics. The controversial striker is currently back in Italy, having been loaned to AC Milan by Liverpool in the hope that he can recapture his stuttering form.
