Raphael H. worked in the office of world-renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, designer of London's Shard skyscraper, Bild reported on Monday.
A native of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, near the Bavarian-Austrian border south of Munich, he had studied architecture in Munich before moving to Paris, the Münchener Merkur reported.
Raphael had also studied in Copenhagen and worked in Leipzig and Munich before moving to Paris, Bild reported.
He died after terrorists opened fire on diners at the terrace of the “Petit Cambodge” (little Cambodia) restaurant in western Paris' lively 10th district, where Raphael was eating with two colleagues, a spokesman for Renzo Piano's office told Bild.
Raphael's father, a doctor, has been flown to Paris by the Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASD) welfare organization, accompanied by psychological counsellors, a spokesman told the Merkur.
