PARIS TERROR ATTACKS

IN PICS: World shows solidarity with France

Cities around the world have lit their most famous monuments in red, white and blue in solidarity with France after Friday's terrorist attacks.

From Toronto to Taiwan, cities and countries around the world have been showing their solidarity with France after Friday's terror attacks, the worst on French soil since World War Two.

Gunmen killed more than 120 people in a wave of attacks across Paris on Friday, shouting “Allahu akbar” as they massacred scores of diners and concert-goers and launched suicide attacks outside the national stadium.

People around the world are sending messages of solidarity on social media, while some of the world's most famous monuments were bathed in blue, red and white light – the colours of the French flag – in a show of solidarity with France.
