Student’s selfie horror short storms the internet

The video was made as part of Meelah Adams' bachelor's thesis into viral videos. She decided to make her own video to study the process – and with 7.5 million views since “Selfie from Hell” was published in August she's has certainly accomplished her aim.

In the two-minute video a woman (played by Adams herself) keeps noticing a dark figure in the background of her selfies who doesn't seem to be there in reality. But with each selfie he comes a little closer…

In a blog post Adams reveals that the video was also made as promotion for a film she is making with a colleague. And she reveals that Seflie from Hell is just the first in a series with the next film to go on-line in the coming days.
