Some 30,000 people filled Copenhagen City Hall Square on Saturday for the culmination of the 2015 Copenhagen Pride festivities.

Temporarily renamed Pride Square in honour of the events, it was the final stop for a Copenhagen Pride parade that featured nearly 25,000 participants over its 3.9 kilometre route from Frederiksberg to the heart of Copenhagen.

“There are more people here than last year and previous years – more and more simply come every year. It’s super positive,” Copenhagen Pride spokesman Thomas Rasmussen told broadcaster DR.

Police said that the entire Copenhagen Pride festival went off without a hitch.
