At the Nya Gul & Blå pizzeria in Piteå, in the far north of Sweden, diners can choose a “Vulcan” pizza that comes with everything.

And we mean everything.

Setting fast-food lovers back 120 kronor ($15), the pizza contains bacon, pepperoni, diced steak, fries, cucumber, tomato, red onion, lettuce, a heap of cheese — and much, much more.

And it has well and truly caught the attention of the Swedes this week, a nation that already has a fondness for unusual pizza toppings, and a place where “kebab pizza” was once ranked as one of the country's favourite dishes.

An image of the new Vulcan pizza, shared on the pizzeria's own Facebook feed, had drawn in almost 13,000 likes by Friday and reached well over a million people.

Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet newspaper sent a reporter to taste the pizza, and he barely managed to make it through the whole meal.

Sweden's viral news website Nyheter 24 went as far as to call the pizza “the most beautiful thing to happen to humanity”.

“People have started ringing us to order it. We've sold quite a few. We're even getting mail from people all over the country to know where we are and how much one costs,” the owner of the restaurant said.

But buyers should be aware that Piteå is a remote spot, around 850 kilometres north of Stockholm. So you might want to think twice before ordering home delivery.
