NFGL students win Global Swede Award

The Global Swede Award honours students who have studied at higher education institutions in Sweden and who have distinguished themselves in areas related to innovation and entrepreneurship.

"Global Swede is a way for us to express our appreciation of tomorrow's innovators and entrepreneurs and to encourage a continued relationship with Sweden," Enterprise Minister Mikael Damberg said in a statement addressed to the Global Swede students. "We live in a world of increasing exchanges between people across national borders. This also means we face global challenges that – more than ever before – we must tackle together."

The hope and idea behind the Global Swede concept is that in the future, the students will be good ambassadors and promote a positive image of Sweden, also acting as important contacts for Swedish businesses around the world.
