Mr Tossa? Councillor competes in Mr Spain

Ignasi Sallés, 26, who is currently the councillor in charge of Youth and Parties at Tossa town hall, will represent Girona in this year’s Mister España contest.

Around 40 contestants, all between the ages of 18 and 27, are due to take part in the competition, during which they will take part in various tasks such as catwalks, sports competitions and talent shows.

Mister España will be held from July 20th -24th in Santa Cruz, on the Canary Island of La Palma.

Sallés, whose impressive CV also includes the positions of personal trainer and model, told Catalan daily La Vanguardia:

"It is with great honour and pride that I represent the province of Girona in Mister España. I promise to do the most possible and raise the name of Tossa as high as possible."
