The apartment is in surprisingly good condition, given that, according to the real estate company's advertisement, it has not been renovated since the block where it sits was built more than 40 years ago.
Oslo estate agent MNEF has gone all out to accentuate the apartment's period charms, styling it to suit the brown and orange colour scheme throughout.
“Our stylist has been really committed," Estate agent Eivind Kavle told Nettavisen. "She went to the flea market and found furniture from the era, so that we could make this ad.”
Aside from the cheeky ad, the MNEF has also produced a slick video featuring a 70s couple living the high life in the apartment.
The viewing will be unique: “My collegue will be there on Sunday wearing purple flannel and the vinyl record player will be playing music,” Kavle promised.
The 80 square metre apartment is on sale for 1.6m Norwegian kroner ($200,000).
