The special Ströck Christmas Tram is operating this weekend around the Ring in Vienna, and will donate all proceeds to a charity for children with heart disease.

The Tram is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and is working this weekend to raise money for Herzkinder Austria, a charity which focuses on the needs of children born with heart defects.

The tram will travel from Karlsplatz (at the Otto Wagner Pavillion), to Schwedensplatz, the Town Hall (Rathausplatz), and then back to Karlsplatz.

The journey takes around 45 minutes, and costs four euros for adults, with all money raised going to the charity.  Children get to travel for free.
