What has thus far been a mild start to the winter is expected to take a turn on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, as strong winds make their way to Denmark.
A large storm building over the Atlantic Ocean between Greenland and the United Kingdom is expected to hit Denmark, bringing winds up to 30 metres per second.
Expected alongside the strong winds is a good portion of rain through Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
If Denmark manages to get off easy in the first part of the week, a second storm is threatening to come already on Friday.
Metrology institute DMI warns that a low pressure system will move in from the east once again bringing powerful winds.
Temperatures throughout the week will remain above the freezing point however.
“We are sure to have mild temps and windy weather, but it is still unclear just how powerful he winds will be on Friday,” DMI wrote.
