The boy said that he was bullied at Bregenz’s Bundesgymnasium Gallus state school for two years, and that despite his parents bringing the issue up repeatedly with the school’s administration, nothing was done about it.
He claims that he suffered psychological problems as a result. The school denies that it did nothing about the bullying, but has not ruled out making a settlement.
The judge said that he hoped a solution could be found which would work for both parties. If no agreement is reached in negotiations another hearing will take place on January 14th, in which the boy will be questioned and witnesses will be asked to appear.
