Originally developed by Austrian architects Anna Popelka und Georg Poduschka in 2002, the Enzis are a special type of outdoor furniture which have provided visitors to Vienna's MuseumsQuartier with a signature style, as well as offering comfort to weary feet.

Vienna's Enzis have been a hit in other countries, with the cult art-object and functional furniture making appearances in Madrid's museum triangle, at Barcelona's museum of contemporary art, on the Schadowplatz in Düsseldorf and in Moscow's Gorky park.

The latest iteration, developed in conjunction with Wien Energie, provides free Wi-Fi as well as power points that are perfect for charging a laptop or cell phone.

Wien Energie boss Robert Grüneis said "I am pleased to be able to offer this innovative idea with added value in a public space."
