EasyJet expands routes from Swiss airports

Low-cost British airline easyJet has announced that it is flying to six new destinations from Swiss airports.

Among the new services is a link to Luton, England from the Basel-Mulhouse airport, which is set to to start on November 7th, the carrier said on Tuesday.

The flights, with one-way fares starting at £39.99, will be daily except Saturdays, easyJet said.

It is also adding flights to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands from the Basel airport, it said.

EasyJet said it was adding a UK destination from Geneva airport.

Starting on December 13th, it will offer winter service between Geneva and Aberdeen, geared to Scots travelling to Switzerland for ski holidays.

Advertised one-way fares for the weekly Saturday flights start at £40.99.

The carrier said it was also offering flights from Geneva to Hamburg and Reykjavik starting in the autumn.

They are among 19 routes added to easyJet’s network, bringing its total number of routes to 700.
