"If you look at the forecast for the week then it looks set to continue with temperatures around 25 degrees and beaming sunshine in major parts of the country. And over the next ten day period we can't see any major changes," Marcus Sjöstedt, meteorologist with the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) told the TT news agency.
Weather experts have said the recent dose of good weather is due to a collection of warm air coming into Scandinavia, leading to pleasant temperatures from north to south.
Indeed, the mercury is tipped to rocket up to 32C in northern Norrland with SVT meteorologist Joel Mellin saying it could be a record heat for the area.
"It's unusual for it to be so warm in northern Norrland. For any place in the north it could well be the highest daily temperature ever recorded," Mellin told SVT.

Stockholmers can enjoy temperatures of 26C throughout Tuesday with similar weather expected throughout the rest of the week.
Down south in Malmö locals (pictured above diving into the sea) can lap up heats of 27C or higher for the remainder of the week. Meanwhile, up in far northern Sweden in Kiruna the temperature will peak at 28C on Wednesday.
SVT's meteorologist Joel Mellin urged people to drink at least a litre of water per day and to apply plenty of sunscreen.
The Swedish record temperature is 38C, recorded in Ultuna in 1933 and in Målilla in 1947.
